Notes

  • Wear gloves when cutting jalapeno peppers, and be sure not to touch your eyes while you're doing it!
  • This popcorn is best when you use freshly popped popcorn, but you can also make it with microwave popcorn if you like. Simply drizzle the popped corn with a small amount of butter, then toss with the chili powder and diced peppers.
  • You can also pop your popcorn in an air popper, a microwave popper, or however you prefer to do it! The real magic is in the seasonings we're adding.
  • Instead of butter, use extra virgin olive oil or popcorn oil.
  • Eat this popcorn right away after making it. It won't store well.
  • As you eat jalapeno popcorn, the pieces of peppers will fall to the bottom of the bowl. Be sure to reach all the way down to grab a handful!
