This Spirulina Smoothie is packed full of nutrients, and the perfect way to start your morning. Spirulina contains powerful antioxidants and is a rich source of magnesium, potassium, and manganese.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 banana frozen
  • 1 cup pineapple frozen chunks
  • 1 teaspoon spirulina
  • 1 cup plant milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Gather all ingredients. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender.

  • Blend until smooth.

  • Taste and adjust flavor as needed. Pour in glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Make sure the bananas are peeled, sliced, and frozen in order to achieve the right texture.
  • I love coconut milk, but you can use your favorite milk here. I've also made this with Hemp Milk and nut milk.
  • We love using a Vitamix to get an even consistency. If you don't a high-powered blender, let them ingredients sit for a minute or two to soften before blending.
