- 1 ounce blue curacao
- 1 ounce gin
- 1 ounce vodka
- 1 ounce tequila
- 1 ounce white rum
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- Lemon-lime soda enough to fill the glasses (about ⅔ cup)
- Lemon wheel and maraschino cherry for garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the blue curacao, gin, vodka, tequila, rum, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
Stir tor shake to combine.
Fill two highball glasses with ice and divide the mixture between the glasses.
Top each one with enough lemon-lime soda to fill the glass.
Garnish with a lemon wheel and maraschino cherry.
- This cocktail is similar to a Long Island Iced Tea– it uses a lot of alcohol! We’re using blue curacao (for color), gin, vodka, tequila, and rum. I recommend going with classic, unflavored alcohols in this cocktail– a london dry gin, an unflavored or citrus vodka, a blanco tequila, and an unflavored white rum.
- Lemon juice adds a bit of acidity and freshness to the cocktail. If you don’t want to use lemon juice and simple syrup, swap them for 1 ½ ounces sour mix.
- Simple syrup adds just a hint of sweetness to balance out the lemon juice.
- Lemon-lime soda adds sweetness and effervescence to the cocktail. Feel free to swap it for sparkling water if you’d like to cut out some of the extra sugar.
