Dark chocolate chips taste amazing in this recipe, but you can use any type of chocolate that you like! Semisweet chips are great, and for extra sweet peanut candy, use milk chocolate chips.
Flaky bits of sea salt help to balance the sweetness of the candy, and work well with the roasted and salted peanut. If you don't have sea salt, kosher salt can also be used. I don't recommend table salt.
Use any kind of peanut butter that you have at home! All-natural or classic peanut butter both work well in this candy recipe.
