Vegan BBQ

Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed tomatoes or 100% tomato sauce
- ½ cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
- ½ cup maple syrup or agave syrup
- ¼ cup water
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce Use gf if needed
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika or regular paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- ½ tablespoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Stir together all ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook over high heat and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
Notes
- Sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
